EAACI Publishes Global Atlas of Allergic Rhinitis and Chronic Rhinosinusitis

In order to increase awareness of chronic upper airway diseases, which affect over 30% of the world’s population, the European Academy of Allergy and Clinical Immunology (EAACI) has developed the Global Atlas of Allergic Rhinitis and Chronic Rhinosinusitis, the latest in their Global Atlas series.

The Global Atlas was written by an international team of 218 experts in the fields of allergic rhinitis (AR) and chronic rhinosinusitis (CR), and covers epidemiology, risk factors, comorbidities, diagnosis, prevention, treatment, and control, and offers educational tools and references for healthcare providers.

The Global Atlas highlights the necessity of developing tools for evaluation of patient burden and research focused on severe AR and CR.
