Cynthia Trickett, PA-C, MPAS: I'm Cynthia Trickett, a physician assistant at North Dallas Dermatology Associates in Dallas, Texas.
The session "Ask the Experts Derm Cases" has three parts. It will be a series of talks from three providers about different derm issues, including facial rashes, annular rashes, and toenail conditions.
During my portion of the conversation, I will discuss toenail conditions. My key points will be (1) not all nail dystrophy is onychomycosis, (2) the types of onychomycosis, and (3) what to consider if treatment for onychomycosis fails.
If you join my session, it's my hope that you'll gain a better understanding of toenail conditions to take back to your patients in primary care.
